God has came through again!

Ever since my girls were tiny I have prayed that God would show Chad and I things we wouldn't know without Him revealing it. On top of that I have prayed that if they are doing something wrong they would get caught quickly.

What I didn't know in the early years was at some point they turn into teenagers!! The good news is God has been faithful to let them get caught early. The bad news is I have a few more gray hairs.

At the She Speaks during the blogging part, they mentioned to find your voice and try to keep a theme going for your blog. Because you don't want your blog to give people whip lash! In the last week or so I have been thinking what is my voice and what is my theme?

This morning it came to me...

Voice ~ Crazy

Theme ~ Crazy but trying to pursue God

That means more than likely if you drop by here to often whiplash will occur! Maybe I need to post a warning sign such as this:

I love it! I didn't think much on the name for my blog when I first started. That is why I have had a recent name change. The address is the same. I didn't want to loose any thing so...I just changed the name on my page.

I too understand about waking up to teenagers. I pray the same thing for God to reveal to us when Andrea does something wrong. I also pray for God to convict her heart that it is wrong.
God has answered this prayer numerous times and I think each time something happens Andrea is dumb founded. Like "How do you know??" We tell her how we are praying for her and we also tell her that one day she will understand.

I am afraid when you visit my site you will still get whiplash. I write about my life and things going on that interest me. Which when I think abou it can give me whiplash! LOL

Have a fabulous day!

I should put that sign on my blog as well.:)But mine might have to say:
"Crazy Woman in Crazyville. Watch Out For Mood Swings!":)

I think your theme is honesty. It helps all of us as wives and mothers when you share your own life, because we are all going through very similar things.
I know that it lifts my spirits to know that I am not alone on this rollercoaster ride with teenagers.:)

God Bless,
Amy:)

How can you not be crazy when living with crazy people a.k.a. teenagers???

I currently have two crazy people in my home (well, that's if you don't count me and my hubby). Ok, I guess we really have four crazy people here.

But hey, we're all trying to be "normal", right?

A theme for you blog is a great idea, even if it's a bit eclectic. Variety is the spice of life and sure to wart off boredom.

Be crazy! It's fun!
Blessings,
Nancy

Ha ha!! I love it!! I think you should have a blog header with that picture made up. It should say, "Standing on the water's edge....getting ready to jump." =)

LOL I love it! Or it could say CRAZY MOM (especially when there are teens involved!) But they still look so sweet when they sleep don't they.

We did have a good group go to the Deeper still Conference.

Hope you and yours have a happy 4th also!

Blessings to you!

That's great Jenny!! Pick a theme? With 2 teens, a 6 yr old and a 3 month old granddaughter. I better just shut my blog down. Lol! Have a great weekend. I'll send you those pics this weekend. I may just call you this weekend to hear your happy southern voice. ;) Lord knows, I need some cheer. Thanks for your prayers for my daughter. She's at my sister's tonight. Just one more step closer to home. Praise God!
Love ya,
Lelia

Yes, parenting teenagers can send you crazy. Although I have to admit I was probably there already, now I just have an excuse!

Love that sign!

lol, love the sign.

Life is Crazy- so blogging about it would be crazy too. I'll wear my neck brace when I stop by for a visit

Hi Jenny,
After meeting you at the conference I think the word I would use it "sweet". You are just like the sweetener in my coffee (making a good thing better). Seriously, you lit up my day with your smile and your voice with that southern sweetness! However, if you choose crazy, I think we are related. That is happening here too. And my greatest prayer is that my children will not get away with bad behavior. So far we are catching them quite often (thank you LORD!).

Take care friend, I have told my hubby about your business so hopefully he will contact you soon!) Perhaps we could take a "business trip" to Atlanta!!

Just being a woman gives me whiplash! ONe day I'm up, then I'm down. Grief!
I think once you get pregnant, you become certifiably crazy...
